Héritage Bière: The first French tourism label for breweries

In collaboration with thirty-five breweries, the Lille Metropole created the “Héritage bière” label, a tour quality label, awarded to regional craft breweries who offer tours to tourists. A first in France.

This brewery tourism label has a graphic identity based on beer codes (hops, water and barley) and the purpose of which is specified through the concepts of “meeting, discovering and sharing”. The aim is to heighten the visibility of breweries open to visitors and to share our brewing culture.

What is the Innovative and Sustainable Destination label?

Launched by the France Congrès et Événements network in 2019, the Innovative and Sustainable Destination label aims to make France a responsible destination in light of the Olympic Games 2024.

This label is awarded to tourist destinations that promote the sustainable development of tourism, while associating tourism professionals with this initiative. Currently, around fifteen French, mainly urban, destinations have been awarded this label.

This label is a guarantee of the credibility of the territory’s sustainable approach and is based on a repository of 26 required actions, the implementation of which is controlled by acertifying firm (Bureau Veritas).
